Our office does not process Italian Visas. In order to receive an Italian Visa, you need to apply for one at your local Italian Embassy. We only provide Letters of Invitation, which are one of the many requirements for obtaining an Italian Visa. You will need it to apply for is a Tourist Visa.
Why haven’t I received my Letter of Invitation for my Visa?
Make sure you fulfill all of the requirements listed, or else we will not send you the letter. Once you fulfill all of these requirements, it will take some time to process the letter. Thank you for your patience.
Do I need a Letter of Invitation for my Visa?
The Letters of Invitation are specifically for applying for an Italian Visa in order to enter Italy. Residents of EU, and participants who do not need an Italian Visa, do not need a Letter of Invitation. Where do I submit the Letter of Recommendation and Passport information?
You need to upload a copy of the letter and your passport info in the Visa section of your account on the website once it becomes available. Until then, email them to email@example.com .
Do I need a letter from my Bishop, NSC, or Moderator of my International Community? Can the letter be written by anyone else?
You only need ONE letter from EITHER your local bishop, your NSC, OR the recognized international moderator. Letters written by local priests, vicars, or others are also NOT acceptable, unless signed and stamped by either the local bishop, NSC, or your recognized international community moderator. Also, please remember that if your Recommendation Letter is written by your Community Moderator, they must be recognized by ICCRS or CF or else it will NOT be acceptable.
What kind of letter does my Bishop/ NSC/ Moderator need to write me, and whom do I address the letter to?
Your Local Catholic Bishop/ NSC/Moderator needs to write a Letter of Recommendation. The letter needs to be addressed to the Office of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Golden Jubilee or CCR Golden Jubilee 2017 Directors. We will also accept letters written to “To Whom it May Concern”.
What if I’m not Catholic?
All are welcome to join us at this great event. If you cannot obtain a Letter of Recommendation, but still need a Letter of Invitation, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Can there be more than one name in the Recommendation Letter?
Yes, they can put in as many names as they want, but if you do, please put the correct passport numbers next to the names mentioned in the letter so that we can match them with the valid copy of your passport.
Can groups receive multiple Letters of Invitation in one parcel to save on costs?
Yes. When you register, choose to receive the Letters of Invitation by email (for 10€), and then send an email to email@example.com for more information. Do note that you will still have to pay a fee for the group parcel depending on the weight, location, and tariff of the courier service.
Can a member of our group pick up the entire group’s letters of invitation from your office?
Yes. To do this, select to receive the Letters of Invitation by ‘email’ (for 10€ ) when you register. Then the person who registered the group must write to firstname.lastname@example.org that you wish to have your Letters of Invitation picked up, and provide us with the following information:
- Your group name
- WHO will be picking up the Letters of Invitation
- The date they wish to pick up the Letters of Invitation (if possible).
- If only certain individuals (rather than the entire group) wish to use this method, list the names of the individuals whose Letters of Invitation are being picked up.
